on july 18th, 2023 @approx. 8:30pm, my baby was involved in an “accident” or so what we thought was an accident. I dropped her off around 7:45pm for the casino, healthy happy walking and talking. I get a FaceTime call, nothing on the other line but a blank stupid stare, then a text saying “Go to the hospital”. Sped to the hospital and nobody is there! No ambulance, sirens, nothing! 
A member of the Lifesaving Crew called from her personal phone and let us know that Ivory was in a terrible accident and to meet them at the helipad, due to her having to be airlifted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Of course, we beat the ambulance there and waited for them to arrive, which they did in less than five minutes. Latisha and her daughter (Karmella Smith) walked off the ambulance and said NOTHING to me, straight onto the grass. No apology, no explanation, absolutely nothing! First thought of a normal person who had someone else’s baby in an accident, would be an apology, if it was truly an accident like y’all claimed. The emt’s let me on the ambulance to see my baby laid across the stretcher barely conscious, eye swollen shut! Once she and I landed at the hospital, she was immediately taken into their trauma unit to assess what happened to her. She was in and out of consciousness, repeatedly, yelling in pain! She was placed in PICU where she was monitored every hour to make sure she was alive and responsive. 



The pediatric surgeon stated that she overheard a “14 y/o was carrying her and slipped between the bleachers”. Absolute lie. In the message, you claimed she was walking back and forth and “slipped”, but you weren’t up there remember? Still nothing from Latisha! We were discharged two and a half days later, with her having a fractured skull/eye and her eye still swollen shut * for reference she fell from over 10ft in the air, face first onto solid concrete at a baseball game * As we’re otw back, I get two paragraphs from HER CHILDREN (Karmella Smith and Kyleigh Inge) trying to justify absolutely nothing, as you can see below of what was said, no apology! nothing! Everybody including the Lifesaving Crew, EMTs, strangers etc checked on her and prayed for her! Friday, July 21st, I received the Incident Report from the Lifesaving Crew and it says my baby was PUSHED! Not only was she pushed, but it says that it was not an accident. Didn’t even have the decency of calling 911 for her, the manager of the game had to ! Been my mom’s best friend of 30+ years, not only that YOU live AROUND THE CORNER from my house, supposed to be my “god mom”, tell EVERYBODY’S BUSINESS, but has said nothing to me nor my mom? All of a sudden your phone so broke. I have never ever in my life dealt with no weird stuff like this. It’s giving mental! YOUR kids can text me trynna fight, pull up, etc but you’re hiding? you call my mom for anything else, now you can’t find your phone? I was trying to give them the benefit of doubt because of the years and the fact you’re supposed to be “family”, but go to hell. They didn’t have permission to take her anywhere, no car seat, if it wasn’t for the EMT’s, I would have known absolutely nothing! I tried to go about it the right way, but for my baby that I birthed IMA ALWAYS SPEAK UP FOR HER. I can count on one hand how many times she has been away from me and anybody close to me can vouch for that! 

She now has four, possibly more, follow up appointments including with pediatric facial reconstruction. Thankful for her rock solid head taking most of the fall. My baby is a fighter and this shows just that, she doesn’t look like what she’s been though! 

It took a lot for me to post about this because it’s a very sensitive subject. I’ve been debating, going back and forth, but enough is enough honestly! My baby is ALWAYS HAPPY AND SMILING, she doesn’t even fall. This is what can happen in a split second, that could’ve been prevented!

A huge thank you to Elder Wiley for going under those bleachers and saving my baby and inviting us to attend church with you! Also to my mom, for literally dropping everything to come to the hospital with her. All the calls and messages are appreciated and noticed! Thank you to the man above, because it could’ve went in a whole different direction. 🙏🏽

Hasanlu lovers The  Hasanlu Lovers  are a pair of human remains found at the Teppe Hasanlu archaeological site, located in the Naqadeh in the West Azerbaijan Province of Iran. Around 800 BCE, the city of Hasanlu, located in north-western Iran, was destroyed by an unknown invader. Inhabitants were slain and left where they fell. In 1973, the lovers were discovered by a team of archaeologists from the University of Pennsylvania led by Robert H. Dyson. The two  human skeletons  were found together in a bin during  excavations , seemingly embracing at the time of death, with no other objects except a  stone slab  under the head of one skeleton.
